EK headlight issue
I noticed that my stock right headlight's orange section does not light up when i have the headlights on but my left side work fine. When i use the right blinker the light flashes, for some reason it does want to light up when I'm just cruising at night. I checked all the bulbs and wiring and everything is intact. what could be causing this.
sorry for calling it the orange section. |

oh yea huh. cuz the bulb comes with 2 wires that light up in different times. 1 is for dim light (parking lights etc) and the other is for when it blinks all bright. yea. he's right. its the bulb. your dim wire is blown and only your bright light wire works buy new bulb |
Re: EK headlight issue (Unseen Racer)
Agreed with ^ I just had my left brake light go out the same way, except it would light up when i had the light switch turned on, and not get brighter when i hit the brakes. it turned out to be the bulb. like the corner lights, it has two filaments inside the bulb itself, so as one may be alright, the other may be bad. what i would do is switch BOTH bulbs to opposite sides of the car. turn on your light switch one click to the parking light mode, if the "bad" one doesnt light up, its the bulb. But if it DOES light up, you've got issues, check the fuses, and the wires for an open (broken wire). let us know what happens.
