EK hatch swaps

Re: EK hatch swaps (willKINGiam)
You need to start reading up on swaps and figure out what you're looking for.
The following will probably matter:
- Price
- Availability
- What you expect out of the engine
- What you plan to do with the engine
- What it takes to put it in the car
- What it costs to put in the car
- OBD type
- Availability of parts
Start reading up and make your own decision. There is no "best" engine that would work for everyone. Some will say a Z6, some will say a turbo Y8, some will tell you a B16A2, others will tell you CTR, someone else will pipe up about a B20, still more will tell you B18C1 or B18C5, others will say H22 and then you'll have more telling you to go for a K-series. And hell, some even go so far to say, "You know what I want in my hatch... An LS1." The possibilities are endless, and each engine has it's pros and cons.
Maybe a price won't work for you, maybe you don't like the idea of cutting into your chassis, maybe you want something with more torque, etc.

Re: EK hatch swaps (NOFX)
yea youll have to know what you want and take your time on deciding. cuz once you get a motor in youll want everything else. but a decent STOCK DAILY DRIVER IMO is a b18c1. i dont know if everyone will agree on that and i dont care. its just my opinion. i see it as youll have decent torque and vtec of course.
