EK Hatch with LS swap, and a B16a2 ECU....OK????
I just bought a 2000 civic hatch that came with an LS motor swap in it. I looked at the ECU and it is a B16a2 ECU out of a 2000 civic SI. I was just wondering if this was ok? And I know that there is a lot of difference between the b18 and the b16, but I am just wondering if this combo is able to be driven on a daily bases.
Thanks

non vtec engine with a vtec ecu?
with time and patience, of course it is do-able, but i would just go to the junkyard and get the correct ECU if i were you, at most $30 bucks. it would avoid a major hassle in the future if you decide to further modify anything.

The set-up is alreadt done when I bought the car. I am just curious if this set-up can be used as a daily driven car without any major issues.
