Default ek hatch fuel pump problem

i just converted my shell from auto to 5spd and did a motor swap. Im getting spark but no fuel. my question is, if my cluster says its in D2, will it still send fuel to the motor? Im running a manual p28 ecu btw.

Anytime the key is "ON", you should have fuel pump activity. I'm not 100% sure about the wiring compatibility, though between a manual ECU and an auto ECU. Pin config might be different. Find out what pins on the fuel pump are power and ground and zap it with 12 volts and see what happens, or bust out a DMM and see if you have B+ at the proper pins at the fuel pump connector.
