tps and map plugs backwards? i had the same problem but it wouldn't rev past 3000. tps should have a red wire in the middle, map sensor red wire is on the outside. reset your ecu.

Did you ever find the issue ? Sorry to gravedig but I'm having this same issue been dealing with it for weeks I took off dizzy cap and has a small burn mark where the coil spring sits... And also realized it's an aftermarket distributor so I swapped the coil from my old ls dizzy and ran a bit better but leans out and sputters around 6 to 7k rpm.. I'm thinking getting a new cap since its burnt inside and also maybe swap the igniter from my old ls dizzy to save more headaches in the future... Ugh hate figuring out electrical issues without any codes... By the way it's a gsr swap in a ek fully converted to obd1.
