ek gsr swap problems!!
have a few problems and need help....i have a obd2 99 gsr motor and im gonna drop it into a 1997 ek hatch...i have the ex harness from a obd2 ex motor and some of the plugs dont fit and there are some that are missing....for sure one of them is the speed sensor...that plug wont go in... it has different patterns...is there anything i gotta do to plug these in...any info would help me.....

Also since your using a 99-00 ex harness that means that you have obd2b harness. and will need a jdm obd2b ecu. You cant use the usdm obd2b ecus because it has an immobilizer unit.. otherwise if you have a Jdm obd2b ecu or usdm or jdm obd2a ecu then your gonna need a conversion harness from obd2b===>obd2a.. also the plugs for distributor is different on a obd2b motor then it is on a obd2a motor. you might need to convert the distributor plug to obd2a.. (96-98 = obd2a 99-00 obd2b)
