Default EK foglights problem......need electrical help

I've had my 96-98 EK square yellow fogs for almost 3 years now. every year i go thru a pair of fog bulbs(H3?) which seem normal to me since they stay on almost all the time when its dark (coz they look so cool).
I bought the OEM kit brand new COMPLETE with the switch and harness.
A week ago one of the bulbs went out, so I said its that time when i change the bulbs again (as i do every year or sometimes twice a year).
But then this time with brand new sylvania H3s the fogs did not light up at all when put back together. I checked the wiring and ground but there is no noticeable wear or cuts. I popped the fuse panel and checked every single fuse all were tip top. I got a new foglight switch too but that didnt work as well.

WHAT ELSE COULD BE WRONG???
I dont see a proper fuse for the foglights which could have narrowed down my troubleshooting. Could it be an inline fuse? I doubt it tho...
HELP!!! I miss my cool foglights

you know what would be your best friend, a test light

this will tell you if the ground is for sure good, if good it will tell you if the power is good, if the power comes out bad then you go check the fuse if the fuse is good then you check the power supply, im guessing tho when you installed them you just tapped off of the fuse box

did you use it to test the power wire? if not do that if you did and there is no power where does your "harness" go to? if its to hard to figure out just make your own by tapping into the sidemarkers and bam your done that sounds like a lot simple solution

did you install these yourself?
the fuse should be near the fuse box or near the relay

yes i did.

i'll just replace it tomorrow. for the meantime i went ahead and tapped it onto my parklights and changed the fuse to a 10amp.

it works now with a 10amp fuse(taillight and license plate light). but tomorrow i'll locate the inline fuse and replace everything like stock.

thanks for the help guys
