as far as how they fit will a axel back off and EJ6 96-00 coupe fit on an EK hatch and vise versa? simple question tia

92-00 hatch axlebacks are all the same. The coupe and sedan axle backs are different.

when i got mine they gave me the coupe/sedan one and it was too long for my hatch..it stuck out a great deal and the hangers didnt hook up correctly

nope Hatch and coupe axlebacks are different. EG hatch axlebacks will fit EK hatchs. Maybe EG coupe is the same as EK, not postive.

Coupe axelbacks are longer than hatches

Think about it, the coupe is longer in the rear than the hatch, u can tell it would be different

yeah i thought so i just thought it would stick out an inch or two i didnt realize hangers and everything would fit differently as well.

Most definitely coupe/sedan stuff WILL NOT fit a hatch! The midpipe does fit, the axleback won't. I tried. Some companies might just use a longer pipe with same muffler but you never know til you get it, either way the hangers are in a different spot.

I got the Tanabe DTM system for a coupe figuring I'd cut it to use on my hatch, but turns out the whole muffler was like 8 inches longer so couldn't use it.
