Default EK and EG 1/4 times so different???

i read alot of posts... about
EG Si/CX/VX hatches running times from mid 13's to high 14's..with just I/H/E
i know its all based on driver and all.....
but i have seen very few EK's run 13s (maybe 2) with just a b18c swap and i/h/e

i would assume that the EG Si.. and EK CX have very similar weights..
and i have seen some Si's with some quick times....

is the weight that negligible?....
best time so far i can muster from my EK with b18c is a 14.7... and thats bone stock... i wanna hit some 13's people!

Default Re: EK and EG 1/4 times so different??? (VTECxSiR)

weight hurts ek's, i have a cx (EK) with stock b16 and i ran a 14.7! i assume with 1.8l bottomend i will be well into 13s? but you are right, my friends with si's (92-95) run about same times, though cx,vx,and dx are alot faster! good luck, eric
