alright i just put an ls into my 99 civic hatch all it has right now is a competition stage 2 clutch cause im going boost soon.but everytime i drive it and get on it.It breaks the driver side jelly mount,it keep's doing it this is my third mount.and i cant figure out why.
any suggestions are appreciated.

buy a Hasport mount and your problem will be fixed

Why? because it says hasport?

OP, are you launching your car at all? the extra torquing of the motor could cause this, get some stiffer inserts as an altertenative to the expensive hasport mounts.

Are you using the oem mount?? Its a poor design. The hasport driver side replacment is a little different than the oem one. http://hasport.com/shop/product_info...products_id=50

so the stock mount just inst going to cut it im assuming. and no not launching but just shifting second hard. so you can just buy the driver side mount by itself?

itll cut it if you dont shift second hard. If you dont have the cash for hasports, get enjo.

My friends completely stock automatic d16y8 rips these mounts once a month! The Design sux *** on them. get the Hasport that Koa Recommended up their. I'm gonna show my friend it. he has a lifetime warranty on his so their free. his is a 2000 Civic EX

which rear L bracket are u using and timing belt side bracket?

Any aftermarket mount will do. But if you've ever noticed for eg's and ek's they sell the full set of mounts or sometimes just the drivers mount. For this particular reason. I recommend the hasport mount because they stand behind their product and offer a life time warranty. When I dropped in my b18c5 the shop suggested I get a D-side mount and thats what I did. I actually got the full set but found it to be a bit shaky(my whole interior rattled like a paint shaker!). I ended up selling the other mounts and keeping the D-side mount because the motor pulls the most on that mount. Then I used energy suspension motor mount inserts for the other mounts I was happy with my outcome. You definitely need a drivers side mount has for the other mounts, figure out what works for you.

im using 2000 civic si side mount,and l bracket also.yea i have a liftime warrenty on them thats why ive went through 3 of them one per day.but yea im just gonna get the mounts like i should have in the first place i tried to go the cheaper route.
