so i pulled out my drain plug in my spare tire area and was wondering if anything will rust. like as the water drains will the inside drain tract/gutter rust? or outside the car where the water drains by the tow hook? i sprayed some rustoleum where the unpainted part of the body was where the black plug was glued down.

if there is paint on it and no bare metal exposed it wont rust

thats the prob, i cant see down in the hole or the route in which the gutter goes
