Hey guys, I have a 2000 civic ex, I am picking up a 1993 del sol Si, it has a b18c5 in it with an si trans, I know the car is OBD1 But will the mounts and everything still work with the ex? My plans are to pull the swap out of the del sol, and drop it in the civic. The harnerss, i have been told I can use the one from the ex, because it is vtec.
Also will the disk brakes on the del sol swap over to the civic? Im paying 2000 for the del sol, since i know a b18c5 alone is worth more then that.

Any tips/answers or any input are appreciated. Thank you.

No, you cannot use the del sol harness in the civic. 96-00 is one peice and the other is not.
You can, use the civics harness with the b18c5.

Yeapp that I understand, I kinda want the car obd2 anyway because of emissions.

Yes, the rear trailing arms (with attached brakes) will swap from the del Sol to the Civic. Do not swap any of the other suspension control arms. You will need to buy parking brake cables for a '99-00 Civic Si.

Depending on how the engine was wired up to run in the del Sol, chances are that you may be buying some additional parts for the engine to run it as OBD-2. Without you knowing or telling us what they did, we just won't know. If you use your Civic wiring harness you will need a P73-A04 ECM with the immobilizer disabled, or you will need a P73-A03 ECM with an OBD-2b to OBD-2a jumper harness: http://rywire.com/store/obd2b-obd2a-...ness-p-54.html

You need to get either 99-00 civic Si mounts or get hasport mounts for the b18 to fit in your civic

The actual mounts for all 96-00 civic's are the same, not just the Si

he "will" need a 99-00 Si drivers mount post though, and a rear t mount bracket
