EK blower/evap in EG?

My girlfriend just picked up an EG hatch and it has no blower motor/box. My friend has one from his 96 hatch, anyone know if it will fit?

yes and no the bottom part of the blower box will fit both eg and ek but the tops are different

How much different? Could I get the box to bolt in?

the connectors are not the same for the blower motor
