Hey guys,

While im trying to get myself jswap parts i do have a b20vtec in a ek chassis.

theres one problem it idle hunts from 1.5 to 2.5 revs goes up and down and i need help.

* i have replaced the idle motor thats not the problem
* i have taken the throttle body pipe out and placed my hand over the throttle body and the engine dies out
* i have also checked some wires near the idle motor and throttle body put them out and replaced them back in and it still idle hunts.

I have crome ecu which also throws code 36 which i believe means traction control? but i dont have that on my ek

Any help would be great.

p.s my engine harness is an ej8 sohc vtec which i had to cut here n there to make it work.

where can i get a better engine harness if it would be that fault?

I would first go check the engien code again, I think the 36 doesnt exist/apply for the obd1 ecus.

Maybe even do a video of the light flasshing so we can help you read the number and then much easier to diagnose the problem.

might just be a simple sensor.
