EK auto tranny in a EG auto (i seached and went though all 188 post)
Im doing this for a guy i work with but i scored the tranny cheap it out of a 99 ex.
People have ask a general "does it work?" question and people say yes but lets
get down to the nitty gritty if you will.
1) automatic kit down cable from tranny to TB is not on tranny it apperently uses
an electic system? im guessin here PLEASE correct me
2) besides the lock up solenoid which does plug into the stock harnes there are
other connections (shift contol solenoid) which is apperently used in lieu of the
good ol' fashioned aforementioned cable.
so how dow i make it all work. his wife is gotta drive this thing and i want her to
not have any problems. please really help only ive read enough of the just 5
speed it nonsense already in the other post. Thanks in advance

ok it seems it can't really be done then. all those guys who said it can won't say a word when things get serious. please sticky this then so nobody else has to waste their time
