EK auto->Manual question (ECU related)
Im going to be changing out my auto tranny on my 96 Y7 with a manual tranny... Im also going to be using an OBD 1 p28 ecu with a JDMshit OBD2->OBD1 harness... Am I going to run into any problems as far as IACV or any other problems of this sort because Im using an OBD 1 p28 ecu? BTW im using the p28 ecu because (1) its manual and (2) will be chipped soon as I join the d series turbo ninjas
TIA
Also will I throw any codes because i'll be using a vtec ecu on a non vtec motor? (i think so... just looking for confirmation)

Thats not true... I know this for a fact because I know people with obd2 b series motors in their cars running an obd 1 p28... and I can start my own car with the p28...

Re: EK auto->Manual question (eg4matze)
it'll work if he jus uses the ECU jumper from any of the new Various companies that make them now....
you will have to move a wire in the ECU clips (obd2 side) for the IACV to function properly or you will throw a code. i'll find otu which one exactly cause it's been a while snice i did one
