so true. i'm wondering if i can convert my interior to a darker color?

wait, arent the inside of a 99-00 leather?

i WOULD buy a whole new hatch 99-00 to save money, but then a lot of work has already been put into it you know.

No, I believe you are mistaken.

No EJ hatchback had a B16A/B.

Many EK hatchbacks had B16A/B's.

he's right -- no hatch ever came with b-series engines.

all civic HB's, 96-00, came with d-series engines

99-00 Si's came with b16

i'd like to see a USDM HB with a b16 -- OUT OF THE FACTORY.

In america, you're right.

In the rest of the world, you're retarded.

There are NO EK's sold in America. Ever.

EK is a chassis designation for 96-00 Civic Sedan and Hatchback models sold everywhere but North/Central America and Canada.

EK4 - Vi-R Sedan with B16A2
EK4 - Vi-RS Sedan with B16A
EK4 - VTi Hatchback with B16A
EK4 - SiR Hathcback with B16A
EK4 - SiR II Hathcback with B16A4
EK9 - Type R Hatchback with B16B
EK9 - 1.6i Type R Hatchback with B16B
EK9 - Type Rx Hatchback with B16B

PS - Anyone who ever says "USDM EK" needs a cockpunchin.

I'm fine for using EK as a designation, but when you start talking about what motors came in EK's, and you say "no ek's came with b16's" .... then you're wrong, no matter what you mean.

EK can be used for ALL hatchbacks, but not when you're trying to say what equipment came in what. The phrase "usdm ek" is hillarious too .... kind of like the phrase EK coupe.

No it's not. There's no such thing as an EK coupe. Nowhere. They're all EJ's. Everywhere in the world.

There isn't one. An EK4 is an overseas model only. EK4 Hatchbacks are VTi/SiR/SiR II. The closest thing we have is an EJ6, but those come with D16Y7 motors, not a B16A.

i think the 96-98 interior ek trims are different in length/size than the 99-00 also. cause i have a 96 hatch and 99 interior...the interior didn't fit right.
