Does anybody know how to remove the sliding sunshade for your sunroof?

I'm guessing it's decently easy to get to if you pull off the headliner.

I'm going to pull off my headliner soon and redo the fabric and was hoping to do the sunshade at the same time and I was wondering if people had any actual experience with this.

I looked through the service manual and the way they described it involved almost a complete breakdown of the whole sunroof assembly coming in from the top and it looked like such a pain in the *** and I'm trying to avoid pulling the window, rail covers, rails, rail stops etc if I can just pull it out easily from the bottom after the headliner.
