By the way, you can also ground the Red/Blu wire from the terminal in the face of the connector.

Does the connector for the seat need to be plugged in at all? Would this be anything in the Integrated control unit as well?

Ill re-try everything tomorrow, but if nothing changes, what's the next step?

No, not for the tests you've been doing.

The seat belt light is independent of the integrated control unit. The seat belt warning chime depends on the integrated control unit. The reason that you need to check the bulb is to see whether there are two separate problems. You may find that a previous owner disabled both functions.

I replaced the bulb with a bulb that I know works, and the bulb still does not come on.

I'm going to try re-ground the wire again with the new bulb and see what I get.

Re Grounded the wire with some extra wire I had laying around and it worked.

The paperclip must of not been a good ground. So now What? It works so How do i keep it working?

Do both seat belt warning functions now work by grounding the Red/Blu wire at connector C401?

Yes, so does that mean I have a bad ground somewhere?

Now what?

Reconnect all connectors except the one under the seat. Do you measure voltage to body ground at the Red/Blu wire of that connector? If so, now use a small piece of wire or paperclip to short the two terminals of the connector. Then, when you turn the key to ON(II), does the cluster light come on and does the chime beep?

The voltage on the connector is like 11.4 or something along those lines. When I jumped the two wires, everything worked.

So now what?

I didn't do the seat side, just the connector that comes from under neath the carpet.

When i jumped it, everything worked.

Good. Now reconnect the plug under the seat and see whether the warnings work when the seat belt buckle is not coupled.

It does!

So did shorting the wire fix the issue?

A connector was probably loose or the power or ground pin for the seat belt connector wasn't making good contact. You should be good to go.

seatbelt switch worked fine this morning going to work, but when I left it didn't.

I think it's the switch on the seatbelt side because I clicked the little red seatbelt remover switch in while I was driving a few times (with the seatbelt off) and the light came back on.

Any way to test this or to fix the connection?

There's a bad connection in one of the plugs. Start by unplugging the connector under the seat and C401, pack the connectors with dielectric grease, and then reconnect them. Do the light and chime now work?

Well, I didn't do that, but the light came back on (before you responded). It mostly stays goes off when I don't have my seat belt on. It seems to be working well, but if it doesnt i just push the red seat belt button and it works.

sorry thats a mouthful
