I had to trim the VC gasket where two molding tabs stuck out and overlapped the timing cover gasket causing an oil leak at that location from the cylinder head, what's weird is all the parts I use are OEM so why did they interfere with each other and why did I have any problem at all? I trimmed the tabs as seen here and re assembled.
could it be the valve cover gasket is supposed to have4 the tabs on the other side so you've got it the wrong way round?

Damn madd props for this build. What dedication. I just spent probably 4-5 hours worth of time over about 4 days reading this entire thread and I have to say holy ****... Sorry about the GF, hopefully by now you're back on the right track to moving on. Keep this up and get her done, I can't wait to see the finished product....

I also in addition to the black oxide nuts and washers found a brand called Pro-Bolt which supplied me with black anodized M6x1.0 screws for stealth applications as seen here with the black stainless/aluminum combo vs. the conventional stainless ....

Had a really good idea to keep my wheels clean of the double sided tape used to apply wheel weights (style that goes inside of the barrel of the wheel) I will have the installer/balancer apply 3M clear bra to the area where the wheel weight will be applied, I hate the sticky weight because they leave that nasty residue behind so this should solve the problem with out using harsh chemicals and solvents to remove which also harms the finish.

FOR SALE. NOT EVEN GOING TO POST ASKING PRICE. IF YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF DO I THINK HE WILL ACCEPT THAT LOW OF A PRICE DONT EVEN BETTER. I AM IN NO NEED ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO SELL IT. I KNOW MODIFIED CAR s HAVE **** RESALE. DOES IT LOOK LIKE I CARE. THE ENTIRE CAR MINUS SHELL AND INTERIOR ARE ALL BRAND NEW.
