Congrats..GL finishing it up. You'll like the LS..I like mine over the D16Z6.

Which tranny did you go with..I assume LS tranny since it came right out of that Teg.

Yeah hopefully it all works out. I have a GSR tranny mated to my LS..after awhile of being on the interstate with the engine spinning 3900RPMs at 80mph in 5th it gets kinda annoying. Course you can always put an LS 5th in although I hear it really isn't that much lower than the LS. I put a Stage 2 Clutch in mine to. It hooks up really nice. A bit rougher to drive in traffic, etc over the OEM clutch but its not bad. Friction point is smaller so you kinda get used to not really being able to slip it.

Only thing I think you should really do is re-sand that valve cover and re-paint it black. I don't like that red on the LS Valve cover. If it was a darker shade it would probably look better. But it looks almost orange.

Yeah I should have paid more attention cause now that I look back I can see in the background that its dark so the flash would have been really bright on the cover itself.

Maybe its just me..I guess usually when I think of an LS I think of a black valve cover.
