have to be valve seals unless there is a problem with the rings or a major problem with the pistons but i highy doubt all 4 of them could be bad at once

or is thier oil getting into the plug area and leaking through ur O rings in the valve cover? are you sure your firing order is rite? 1-3-4-2 and number one is starting on the rite cylinder first.

oil can't get through the spark plugs unless the plugs are loose otherwise you would not have compression, the most the plug seals leaking in the VC will fill up with oil around the spark plugs

most of the time the only people who experience this problem with plug seals leaking are forced induction cars on higher boost levels which make lots of blowby

if his seals are leaking that bad there must not be much of a seal left but seeing how it's a fresh motor i doubt it

crank motor to tdc and make sure all the timing marks line up cam sprockets shoud read up in the up position and then line up the crank shaft pulley to the notch on the timing cover, also check for 180 out on dizzy

correct me if i'm wrong but honda offsets the groove in the cam to prevent improper installation of the distributor I.E. 180 out

if timing is off enough though it would not start whether it be cam timing or ignition

There is a groove but if you install it 180 out and start tightening those bolts it will go in the wrong way without much force and your car WILL NOT START due to the firing order. If timing is out or if the timing belt jumped sprocket teeth it will run like you have lost lots of power or run like complete crap, if timing jumped enough it WILL NOT START so you are correct

the oil in the cylinders is the problem almost garanteed. gasoline engines will not burn excessive oil like a diesel engine will.

my advice is find out where you are getting oil into the cylinders and that is most likely your problem

someone may have asked this already or you may have stated it, but did the car run before?

well this motor is freshly built and this will be its first start but it had a b16 in it before that ran fine.
