link to another thread? for real? like we get paid to be here...

but yeah sounds like your headgasket has gone. run a compression test and pressure test the cooling system to see exactly where it is leaking from.

and btw.. 91 octane to run a b20 is throwing money away.

yeah i think autozone still does the rent-a-tool thing.

that or you could buy one at almost any parts/tools store. or like a harbor freight for cheap.

not sure, i'd just focus on making sure they are all within roughly 20 psi or so of each other.

also...can bad gas be the culprit at all? cause it could be a coincedence but as soon as i ran the last of the gas i already had this issue started occurring...

doesn't seem likely

but even worse case and it is a blown headgasket, it isn't a difficult fix.

yeah i know. but i work 5 days a week and time is against me. a longblock swap can take me about 4-5 hrs but a head swap will be at least a couple days cause i'd have to get the head resurfaced....

i think im gonna pump all the gas out of the lines and such, test the compression and if its good the change my fuel filter and see what the car does then....does that seem like a good plan?
