Eibach Sportlines on my Del Sol

I give these a 3 out of 10. Driver's side is lower than passenger. A nice drop, but was looking for more. Used stock shocks. Didnt upgrade shocks because i wanted a nice set of coilovers later on. My drivers side is a one finger gap and passenger side is a 2 finger gap. Same thing in the back wheels. I am having rubbing problems in the rear passenger(I don't blame springs due to stock shocks, plus i pulled out this shock to find out it had a missing bumpstop which was WEIRD), and my front passenger makes a "metal rubbing" noise when i turn hard, but it isn't a screech. Didn't get an alignment yet though. This is my review on these. Was not too happy with them anyways.

Now which coilover setup should i go with?? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif. Was thinking of tanabe s03, or omnipower ones but are these coilovers(shocks) rebuildable like a gc/koni setup???

I'll post pics soon

thats weird, i have sportlines on my 2002 civic and i really like them. the only thing i dont like is that the drop is not as much as i wanted. the uneven drop you have is weird, mine is even all the way around.

i would prolly give sportlines 8 out of 10

just my 2 cents

I don't see how the springs could be that bad. Eibach is a VERY reputable suspension company so if the car isn't sitting level it is probably something with your car. Maybe the springs isn't seated right in the strut cup?

As for the coilover setup the best thing to do is find some customer service phone numbers and call the company yourself. This way there is no question about it when it comes time to have them rebuilt because you talked to them and know exactly what they can do for you.

I've got eibachs pro lines on my del sol. never had problems with them on my stock struts or my kybs. I did notice that when I installed them it did take a couple days for the springs to seat to their lowest level. Make sure the rubber gaskest in the top of your strut assembly(dish looking thing on top) didn't get wrinkled or pushed up when you installed the springs and the spring are resting flush with the bottom of the strut. if you feel your stuts are bad i'll give you my old struts if you wanna pay shipping, my dad would love for me to get them out of his shed.

hey dude del sols are 4x4 its gonna take more than eibach sportlines. my friend (doc.vtec) had them on his sol and regretted it. nows hes rolling on skunk2 coilovers and kyb agx's

Maybe it's just my car?? It pisses me off that i see my passenger side is higher than drivers side. IN FRONT AND BACK!! In top of that passenger side rubs, drivers does not.

Re: (JDMCRXDelSol)

i've had sportlines on 4 different cars. All of them had even drops, but I found it makes a huge difference when you upgrade from stock shocks to an adjustable shock/strut. I've used KYB AGX, koni Yellow's, Bilsteins and Tokico Illumina's.. I personally liked all of them. So it comes down to how much money you want to spend. but stock shocks suck ass with any aftermarket springs

Re: Eibach Sportlines on my Del Sol (JDMCRXDelSol)

eibach sportlines are not bad springs maybe you just didn't install them right, i think there good for daily driving on but i have skunk 2 coils on some 1 blown agx shock there alright but ive driven my brothers s2 on kgmm race springs with koni yellows and that feels so nice. My opinion would be h&r race springs w/ koni yellows
