Default ehh. My first track times ever drag racing the EJ/ITR

Well.. I went to the strip yesterday. Twas the highschool drags (I'm not in highschool - but I got in anyways ). It was pretty fun. I didn't try to win the drag races w/ dial ins and such... I just wanted to see what it could do. For those who care though, I dialed 14.3.

Here's my car for those who don't know:

99 EJ hatch full interior
JDM ITR motor
Toyo spectrum tires (oh these are just awesome let me tell you) 26 psi.
AEM CAI
Kenji P28
Tanabe RM
Gutted cat

Here's are my runs in order:

R/T .610
60' 2.579
330 6.574
1/8 9.721
mph 79.36
1000 12.502
1/4 14.864
MPH 95.44

R/T 1.043
60' 2.391
330 6.355
1/8 9.542
MPH 77.37
1000 12.315
1/4 14.678
MPH
96.98

R/T .985
60' 2.366
330 6.309
1/8 9.485
MPH 77.62
1000 12.238
1/4 14.578
MPH 97.98

At this point, I'm blaming my tires. These things peel so easy it's pathetic. I lost traction going into 2nd on all runs, screetch on 3rd and chirping 4th.

Any comments? I'd like to hear what some of you think is possible according to what I did. I'm not really into dragging.. but I know some of you guys are.

Nice set up!

Your 60' could use a little bit of work but those tires sound weak for that powerful engine of your lol
