EH3 in for fresh paint
Just sent my hatch into the bodyshop last week for some new paint. Thought I'd post a few pics of the work in progress. As you can see the original color is Tahitian green (teal). It is going to be a complete color change to Dupont White gold pearl metallic. I'll post pictures of the finished product soon.
I opted to take the side moldings off and have the holes shaved.
The white you see here is just the base coat.

You can see them cause they're in your cache.
You have them in EDIT mode. Need to have a address with .jpg at the end for it to work.

Wow, nice, I like how you're getting it painted and getting away without taking the engine out. How much is it running ya?

Actually I didnt. I'm still running the D16. They painted most of the engine bay already( except the firewall). When I get a new motor i'll just have the rest of it painted. I'll post some pics of the bay when its done.

White pearl gold metallic? Hmmmmm..that sounds interesting. Please post pics of your car after it's done! I won't copy, I promise.

haha. For the most part its going to look pearl white but at certain angles where light hits it, you will be able to see a tint of gold. Its actually a factory color.

Its gonna look good. My buddy just finished spraying one EBP. Car is dirty in this pic but we haven't had the greatest of weather up here to wash it. Pic is from the other day.
I wish I had pics of the jambs and engine bay. The motor was yanked, car was stripped, all glass removed, sprayed, and then put back together.
