EH2 exhaust question
I currently have a 99-00 Si b-pipe and no muffler. My stock muffler was busted, and I didn't have the money to buy a new one at the time, so I just left it off (not trying to gain redneck power).
My question is, would I be better off buying a T1R b-pipe and putting on this GSR muffler that I was given, or keep my existing b-pipe and getting the Spoon N1 axle back? I am also concerned with cat/header fitment when I get ready to purchase those items. I know that I want a Carsound Cat. I have a b18c1 swap. Which chasis would I buy my header and cat for? I was told that most people buy a JDM ITR header and a GSR cat for this swap. Is this correct? I want it to fit like stock without any extra fabrication or welding required. Thanks in advance. -Travis |

good luck. i still don't have the formula. I have a gsr motor in a hatch too. I had to mod the pipes.

Re: EH2 exhaust question (b.cruz)
Did you use the stock GSR exhaust manifold?

Re: EH2 exhaust question (94si94cx)
yup. it is the only abnormal size OEM b-series exhaust manifold.

Re: EH2 exhaust question (b.cruz)
Yea, I used the top half of a GSR manifold, and the bottom half from a d16z6 manifold and had a inch piece welded on with an o2 bung. It works fine for right now but I want aftermarket.

Re: EH2 exhaust question (94si94cx)
I didn't quite understand the question, but I have some info regarding this....
I have a B18C1 in my '92 VX, I'm using the stock exhaust manifold then my old GS-R OBD-II cat with a GReddy SP pipe after the cat to the axle (for a '96 GS-R). I would have used the whole SP system, but Integras are longer from the rear axle to the rear bumper, so I just had the over-axle piece made at Meineke. |
