EG6 GSR gas 87, 89, 91?!?!
Im getting my EG6 GSR swap done. I would like to know which gas i should be using, and if i use a lower grade will it corrode or slowly damage the engine?because the stock D15b non-vtec i had on there i used 87. Appreciate everyones input...thanks!

No.. Those engines require 91+ octane. If you dont want to pay the 7 extra cents per gallon of gas then dont do the freaking swap. Do it right or not at all.

but if the manual says 91 put that in, don't go any higher because you won't see any difference except.. less money in the bank

x2. It's not even a huge price difference. Its a freaking Civic gas tank (average 10 gallon tank) so you save. $ .70 cents.
