Are you throwing a CEL for the speed sensor? What happened to your old cluster? If the speedo still works off the old cluster, swap it onto the new cluster.

How do you take out the cluster on the EG's? Is it very hard?

Nope.

1. Remove two screws at the top of the dash bezel.
2. Pry the hazard switch with a flathead and remove screw behind the switch.
3. Remove the dash bezel.
4. Remove the four screws holding the cluster to the dash.

if your RPM's work and the KMH don't, then is the VSS. i had the same problem.
1st before you take out your dashboard. try unplugging the VSS and clean it with carb cleaner. you can get the carb cleaner at autozone. the wait for it to dry and plug it back in. then take the car for a drive and check if the KMH works.

if that doesn't work the go with this.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by BlueIntegraBoy &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

The VSS is actually pretty simple, if you need one I have one kicking around because I thought mine was crapped out. But it was just my cluster. The speedo might be just kicking in and out like mine was, I just bought a cheap cluster and swaped the speedo out. I say if you can borrow a cluster from someone for a day then test it, and if that cluster doesn't work then you know for sure that its the VSS.
