eg6 carbon fiber hatch
hey wassup guyz. ive seen a post in the past for people looking for a carbon fiber rear hatch for EG's. well ive been talking to a company that fabricates carbon fiber, and might work out a business deal w/ him if i can get your opinions on this.
1.a fair price
2.w/or without inner taillights
3.w/or without license plate
4.bolt on to factory latches
let me know on your opinions. im sure there are many people looking for one, yet cant find one on the market. thanx

1) 650
2) With inner tails
3) With license plate
4) no factorylatches. probably try to use two racing door latches for the hatch, and sparco sping style hood pins for the back window!
Very cool...just keep it a plain CF skin to keep costs down!

This is what i've been looking for! Bolts on, and the taillights and license plate can all be used just like stock. What kind of timeframe are we looking at- cost?
Due to less material than a CF hood, the cost should be less($300ish?). But then again, this will be slightly more complex. Smaller part, shipping should also be more effiecient.
Thanks

Re: eg6 carbon fiber hatch (jg)
just because its smaller than a CF hood doesnt make the price cheaper. if you're wanting the inner taillights and the license plate and everything, you gotta realize its harder to make because of the indentations n stuff like that. i was lookin more into just having the license plat frame just to keep costs down, but for those who have left some feedback, thanx n i will keep this updated.

I am so in as long as it's top quality and it bolts in and looks factory style. Who make that one in the pic and can I see better pics of it open and stuff. The factory weather strips and stuff should be able to be fitted also

Re: eg6 carbon fiber hatch (mugen eg)
i think 500 dollars sounds fair.
everything should be made to factory spec including mounting points, tails, license plate box, key hole. etc... if it wasn't an exact replica of a oem hatch i wouldnt buy it only because i hate shaved tails and license plate. id rather pay more for something that has the factory look than cut corners and costs to not have tails or etc.

Re: eg6 carbon fiber hatch (IM ALL BOB)
$500
W/ Tail Lights
W/ License Plate
DOES Bolt to factory latches
I wouldn't mind buying that for a reasonable price, and like I said above, make it COMPLETELY stock replacement.

If it does meet all those requirements then I would definately purchase one. It has to have a place to mount the license plate lights too. So yeah, as long is it is completely stock replacement I would certainly buy it.
