Hi all last year i purchased an already turbocharged eg5 d16y1. With the kms on the engine and body after a year i have decided to upgrade and bought an ek1 d16y4 and decided to swap everything from the eg5 to the ek1. The coversion is now almost completed and the car is running but after taking it over the dyno ive learnt my air fuel ratio is out of wack so im swaping the fuel pump and rail from the eg5 possibly the injectors too as its all already been modified (except the injectors were stock on the eg5) now Im now looking at swaping the ecu also from the eg5 into the ek1 as its already been remaped. However the ek1 only has 2 plugs for the ecu whereas the eg5's is 3 plug i can get an auto electrician friend to hardrewire it for me and have been doing the mechanical work myself on the ek1 but now i want to know if i will need to do anything else after that mecahnicaly to make tge ek1 run smothly with the eg5s ecu.

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

The Y4's ignition is batch fire, the distributor plug is funny, and basically the whole thing isn't really compatible. Your best option would be to buy a proper EJ8 engine harness, as well as an EJ8 distributor, swap over to that, and work from there.

Im having trouble finding a ej8 harness and distributor for sale in Australia. I know its probably not the best option but would a greddy e manage or apexi pfc do the trick to the stock two plug ecu in the ek1? or is there any way of remaping the two plug ek1 ecu to make it suit the turbo setup etc?
