eg w/gsr swap half shaft question
im replacing the oil seal from driver's side of the transmission where the intermediate shaft goes through the diff because of a leak. this is a 93 gsr motor. but im using 94+ axles. so... can i use a 92-93 oil seal or will i have to opt for a 94+ because of the axle combo? i can fit a seal for a 93 year but just worried about the inside hole diameter being bigger causing a leak

drivers side of the tranny... half shaft
whatever year half shaft you have, use the corresponding seal and axle... or you'll hate life

Re: eg w/gsr swap half shaft question
yea i did. but going on to hasports site says that depending on which axle combo the seal may have to be changed. the old seal was for 93 and i got the replacement. but then i thought about what they said but still not sure. if anyone's done a 93 and lower teg motor swap using 94+ axles/halfshaft let me know. otherwise ill put everything back and find out if it still leaks...
