Re: EG transmission (Shotman)
yes, any D-series tranny will fit.
if you need a new tranny, get a D16Y8 tranny. best D-series tranny.
it practically has the same gearing as the D16Z6, but stronger shift forks.
Z6 tranny - aluminum shift forks
Y8 tranny - steel shift forks

Re: EG transmission (Shotman)
Do yourself a favour and get the Vti tranny (with LSD) from Japan, they're available in Toronto all the time, look on the TCC boards or contact Adrian at Hyperduck. I've got one in my EG and it's the best Mod I ever did (for Solo2 anyway). Should be able to find one for less than $500...

the Vti tranny would be sweet if only if you can find them.
can't find it then I recommend the Y8 tranny

Re: EG transmission (sleeperciv)
I belive the D15b2 tranny in japan also has LSD, its a 1.5vtec, the swaps with tranny are
cheap so I would assume the tranny it self would be super cheap.
