eg tps plug
 
ok i just did a z6 swap on my eg but i'm using the cx harness and my car revs funny so i looked at all my wiring and evberything looks fine but on my tps the plug is (left-right) red, yellow, green and on my friends eg its green , red yellow. should i change my wires around or is it the correct way?

The real only way to be sure is to test the output and input from the ECU to those wires. The center wire should be your signal wire , which is usually a red/blk. The yellow wire which is usually on the left side of the plug is the signal wire, the green wire is the sensor ground. Check to see whether or not you are recieving a ~5V signal to the yellow wire, if not check the other wires and see if it going to the other ones. You can also check continuity between the green wire and a body ground.

yes the yellow wire is getting current but not the red one. also when i plug out the tps the car revs a little better

plug in the red wire and use a multimeter to check to see you are recieving ~.5 V when throttle is closed and 4.5V when it is fully open. If you are not getting any voltage check to make sure there is not a short or open in the wire, also Check continuity between the green wire and a chassis ground
