Eg With swaps.... can you still use a full catback exhaust system without having to ajust the pipein
i got a 92 with a b18 swap and i have a set of dc sports 4-1 headers.. I plan on buying a full TANABE catback system. Is this blot on or I have to have it custom fitted since its a integra motor not the stock with the stock headers. please give me a answer ASAP before I buy the system. If it wont work how do you guys do it with swaps in your egs if you wanted to do a catback. lmk Thanks

Re: (Kangolbrand)
i belive if u get a header for teh b18 motor, it will be longer and will not bolt up to the stock civic cat, it has to be moved back, so u might have to do some modification.
im no exhaust expert tho

Facts:
1. Buy the Civic exhaust
2. All Integra headers EXCEPT THE GS-R will allow for 100% bolt-up usage as long as you have the correct Integra or Civic cat in place too.
3. Any 2.5'' collector "JDM" type header will need customizing piping somewhere - mine is altered at the cat since I also added a 2.5'' cat too.
I know this from first-hand experience. My 1992 Civic had a Gs-R swap first, so I had to extend my exhaust like 2-3'' to accomodate the shorter GS-R header pipe to make the cat and header bolt up.
My Type R swap did not require any mods whatsoever due to it's longer-than-GS-R header.
If you have a GS-R swap you can always just buy the Type R header and still not have to mod the exhaust.
LS swaps are 100% bolt-up as long as you use a header for an LS with a Civic exhaust.

No.
Keep the LS header and it will still bolt right up.
I said if someone had a GS-R swap they need to buy a header for an ITR engine to make it 100% bolt-up.
