EG suspension techniques rear sway bar help
i just picked up a suspension techniques 19mm rear sway bar for an EG. it's new, but no instructions. anyone have one of these or know where i can find install instructions? should i get reinforcement for this bar since it's 19mm?? i hear the oem gsr sway bar is fine, but anything bigger like the type r 22mm or bigger than the 14mm might tear the subframe??

you dont need a reinforcement. st designed that bar for stock application. for instructions call suspension techniques and have them fax you or mail you one.
good luck

Re: (anngsr)
its really simple to put on, I have the front and rear st bars on my 93 hatch
You take the bottom shock bolts out of the LCA and install the L bracket in the same location, The bolt is just long enough to go through the bracket and shock.
Then you snake the bar through the suspension, and the other chasis "D" brackets go in the stock location, you may have to drill the holes out a little to fit the bolts. Connect the bar ends to the L brackets and the middle to the chassis D brackets and your done
And you def dont need the beaks bracket kit, just make sure you use the washers around the D brackets when mounting
This bar is awesome too, enjoy

Re: (Hackbackb18c1)
u think u can take pics of the bar on your car? the ends and d brackets. when i got the bar the parts were just in a bag and it seems like there's more parts than i actually need to put it on. do you still have the instructions handy?

The same thing happened with my SRR bar...The bag of bolts is just sitting in my car now (lock nuts and stuff like that).
