Default Eg rack and pinion question????

I would like to know if an Integra rack and pinion will fit my eg hatchback. I need to change it beacuse it has some play, and I heard the Integra has a closer turning ratio. I've owned a dc integra and it felt much tighter in corners then the eg(I could be wrong)Plz HLP!!!!

IIRC... it should bolt up.

The ratios should be the same too between models... But the manual and PS racks have different ratios.

I plan on using a non-power steering rack and pinion because I dont need power steering and plus my car didn't come equiped with it. Does anyone know for sure if it will fit ??????

A DC2 steering rack WILL bolt up to a Civic subframe.

All Civic/DC2 non-PS racks have a rubber mount that has a flat surface on the subframe side.
All Civic/DC2 PS racks have a rubber mount with a round surface.

I used an ITR PS rack (round mount) on my civic subframe (flat surface) by using a PS rack clamp, elongated the bolt holes, and using longer hardware. Worked great and had no issues with almost 10,000 mi on it.
