Default EG Oem Cd changer questions...

How hard these are to find and what they are worth typically....

This was pulled from the 94 Civic EX that I just picked up for parts.

It might...there wasn't a tape player/cd player in the car. Thats why I am wanting to get some info on this thing. I'll take pics tomorrow of the bezel that this sits in. It goes down near the floor and makes the whole center console area one piece kinda like the DC tegs

That looks like a CD player slave to me... not a CD changer. Both were optional on the '94 EX though. You were just looking in the wrong place on Majestic. Optional audio equipment is listed under ACCESSORIES - ELECTRICAL.

The CD changer mounts in the trunk.

Here are the two CD players for the car.

CD PLAYER (WHITE/AMBER ILLUM.)
08A06-181-210

CD PLAYER (WHITE ILLUMINATION)
08A06-371-220

That's for 92-97 Civics and 94-97 Accords. It is not a CD changer. It is a single-disc slave device.

CD changers are optional parts in our cars.

It came like that from the dealership. No Hondas came with a changer stock from the factory unless it was the in-dash unit. The boot-mounted changers were dealer installed -- especially the Alpine ones. I have the same one mounted in my glovebox.
