EG, need new seats
Title explains a lot of this topic, I have about $600, I really don't have it in the budget for seats like recarro or bride, I was wondering if Corbeau seats are any good? Can I afford Sparcos? Should I just look for a set of Prelude or Integra seats? If anyone has other suggestions or options I'll gladly listen to advice and opinions, thanks in advance for help.

sparcos / recarros are good seats but before you spend that much money on them, invest in a good alarm system 1st so you dont get jacked. if you drive a honda you should atleast have a club on or a clutch/brake lock. the club sucks dude.
so anyways im in tennis practice and i dropped the key for the club somewhere and cant find it. i end up cutting through my steering wheel with a flat head, a razor, and a lighter for about almost 2 hours. i got enough clearance to rip my club (masterlock4) off. oh yeah. civic steering wheels have super thin metal inside! its like 1cm thick. the rest is plastic.!
oh but i have integra seats in my car. 94-2001 integra seats should swap over into an EG fine. mine did on the driver side, dude mustve swapped the rails out on the left. but i got 2 bolts in and tied it down with zip ties n it works for now. (yes for now)
i know del sol seats should fit in also, racing seats are really too expensive and you could be saving that money up. who knows you might find a set of front integra seats like mine for $65!

Re: EG, need new seats (jxmac2o6)
thanks for your help, as a matter of fact i do have a security system already even though theres really no car jacking or theft of that kind around here, I'd like to find Integra or delsol seats but unfortunately this is a small town so most junkyards don't have much to offer as I have already gone looking around and about the best you can find is a decent shift ****. Anyway thanks for your help. btw does anyone know if pre 94 integra seats work and especially if seats from an 89 prelude can be made to work somehow, theres a set of them i can get on the cheap, oh yeh, and any help on the corbeaus would be well appreciated

I got 98 Integra GSR seats in my EG. Way better than the stock CX seats by far. And it was a simple bolt in deal. Only thing is now my front seats don't match the pattern of the rear which are still stock.
I paid about $200 for the two front seats partly because they came out of a GSR, mostly because of the condition of them. If I had to do it again, I would go with the integra LS seats instead pretty much the same just not as adjustable (I think).

Re: EG, need new seats (JDM-EJ1)
your options are pretty wide open. and your price range can get some damn nice seats. I was able to pick up a set of mint '00 SI cloth seats for 150 back in january. I'd reccomend del sols(ALL), integras('94-'01), or if your willing to swap brackets and rails you can go with many other options. With your budget, you could just pay for S/H. I've never sat in corbeau, but if their inyour budget ater you add on the cost of brackets/rails I'd get them.

get some del sol seats. nice and comfy. and they hug you nicely. they might sit a tad bit lower than your stock seats. and plus the have different color stripes like blue, red, green, grey, and all black.

that seems like a pretty good deal to me. When i have enough cash im buying their seats. Seem pretty legit.
