EG with LS or B20 turbo
Hi
What kind of trans are you all running?
I got a B16 trans with factory LSD, I want to mate it to a LS or B20 and turbo it. Is that a good combo?
Anyone running this set-up?
TIA

if you are going turbo, you should use an LS trans. but i do wonder if the LSD from that b16trans will go into an LS trans. if you can do that i say do an LS trans with LSD

Re: EG with LS or B20 turbo (b20z)
are u going to build it or not? if you don't plan on building it then you could get a LS motor. it will be cheaper to start. you can run higher boost in stock form. but the b16 is good too. it is all about what you want. the LS will be have more torque, but after you turbo it won't really matter.b/c with a b16 the turbo will make up for that lack of torque. the two motors are very equally matched the only difference is that the LS has low end power and the b16 has top end. but they run similar 1/4 mile times. you have to do what YOU want.
