Default EG Idle Problem

Hey guys whats up...I've searched these forums for about 2 weeks and cant find anything to help me. Ok here's the setup and the problem.

EG with a D16Y7 motor but a 92 si Manifold bolted up to it.BTW car is on BOOST

I've had the idle problem that a lot of people suffer...when the car is cold it revs anywhere from 1500-2000 and then surges as its getting warmer and warmer and then comes to perfect idle when its Fully warm. I have replaced the IACV and that hasnt solved my problem...I've checked all my vacum leaks not that either.

What should I try next....some people say try the FIV or the TPS..which one should I try..or how do I test these to c if they work.

I've replace the IACV and then found out how to test it after I replaced it unfortunately..and the selenoid's work in both units...so my old one is good too.

Plz advise on what I should do next... Thanks everyone..Merry Christmas and have a happy new year!

its a honda trade mark i swear.

Try bleeding your coolant that could fix it.

or loop the IACV and The FIV together like i did.

Seriously it's 90percent sure that your coolant is low or there is an air bubble...

Bleed the system properly before attempting to loop anything...

Try that if it doesn't work THEN worry about rigging it other than it was meant to be...

Ditto....

I was one of the ones though with a bad idle even after everything else was perfect and I used JDMlifestyles collant loop and my idle is perfect now.

Be sure to exhaust all other possibilities first like IACV clean, FITV screwed all the way in, and no bubbles in the coolant. If that is all good and it still surges, then search for FITV/IACV loop and you will find a very detailed thread on how to.
