EG Headunit install - doesn't work, plz help
I bought a 95 civic without a radio, the wires were all chopped up.
I know that I connected the 12v, ignition and ground wires correctly - not 100% on the speaker wires, but that shouldn't matter?
The brand new headunit that I bought does not turn on.
15A underdash radio fuse is good.
Can anyone help?

I hope someone can confirm this, as my ECU fuse under the hood is bad.

you will have 8 speaker wires, + and - each for: front left, front right, rear left, rear right, if these arent hooked up correctly, your sound will be all jacked up, try to find your same model/year at a junkyard and take out the headunit harness, written on the wires im small lettering it says what each one is

What does that have to do with my problem?
The 12v constant, 12v switch and ground wires are correct - the speaker wires may or may not be, at this point it doesn't matter, the headunit does not turn on.

Well if the 12v cons. and 12v switched and ground is right used a multi-meter and see if you actually have power from the car. If you do then your radio may be bad or its fuse is blown possibly. Yes, the speaker wires dont have to be wired for it turn on.
