Eg hatch stuttering from 3,000-3,500 wtf?
Hey guys my hatch started to do a stuttering between 3,000 rmp's and 3,500 does not matter what gear its not when my foot is in the gas but when im just keeping the pedal steady it starts jerking? I know i have a coolant leek but thats it what do you all think?

well...without knowing your car personally and only seeing it a few times...this is how i'd solve the problem.
it doesn't sound like bad gasoline...
so i'd say fuel delivery is fine.
i'd look at the spark plugs...see if they are all firing evenly...
then check your plug wires...but seeing as though its a 98ex motor it should be ok...
check your distributor...check your ground wires...
with electrical problems (and thats what it sounds like) it takes problem solving..a.nd i'd start with the least expensive parts to replace.

had the same problem on my eg hatch, the cat was clogged up. other than that, changing spark plugs, fuel filter, and just general maintenance should alleviate it a bitt.

Buddy had the same problem with his SI (before he traded it in for a 350z Mmm)
Turned out to be the distributor specifically the barrings in the rotor in there .. I guess its a common problem (according to my mechanic) might wana take a look there
