eg hatch shell worth?
 

i went to the local performance shop and talked to a guy who works there that i am kinda friends with and he says hey i got a car for you, so we left and went to look at it and its a 92 civic hatch DX, red, shaved moldings, racing steering wheel, greddy catback, full suspension, wings west mid spoiler, the only thing is it has no motor/tranny/or wire harness, he is asking 500, should i do this deal while i still can?

sounds like a good deal to me. And you can sell some of the stuff on there and probably almost get it for free and then put what you want on there. If I knew about it I would swipe it today.

That sounds like a pretty good deal.
I just sold my old '93 hatch for $500. The motor was shot, it was primered down, the interior was gutted, and the front bumper was duct taped on.

Just make sure you take it too a body shop and look at the frame just to make sure it is straight.
