Default EG Hatch headlight problem

I just recently hooked up a pigtail to my wiring harness in my 92 Si for my RIGHT headlight.

There is a problem and I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

When my dim lights are on, the left light is on dim but the right light is on bright.
When I flip my brights, the left works fine but the right light doesnt work at all.

There is obviously a wiring problem but I do not know where.
Help anyone? Thanks.

One of these. With the exception that mine has 3 wires coming out. High. Low. Ground

Explained: There was a terrible HID job on the car when I bought it so I wanted to put regular lights back in. Left light had the plug and went right together.

Right light however was spliced together and was just a MESS in general.

Two separate problems:

1) You have the low and high wires swapped on the right side.
2) The right high wire is not getting voltage.

I found a diagram of a 9003 plug and it looks like this:

Also by my understanding, the wire colors are as follows:

red/white = low beam
red/blue = high beam
black = ground

any problems there?

If you just apply simple logic to the behavior of your lights, I think you will agree that most likely:

Simple voltage tests could verify my theory. Also check whether 10A dash fuse 9 is blown.

Simple logic paid off!!!

Found the problem.
First...the red/blue wire was cut and hidden by electrical tape.
Second...I used the blue wire with a red stripe instead.

Thanks Ron. You're a legend!

Simple fix for me was to take the fuses out and sand the tips clean with scotchbrite. Put them back in and good to go
