Default EG Hatch DX Cigarette Lighter Question

My EG hatch didn't come with the cigarette lighter panel, so I got a used one, but don't see a place to hook it up. I've noticed that a cigarette lighter sub harness is available for purchase from various honda parts website, such as majestic, so I was wondering is this something I need to hook up my cigarette lighter or should I be able to hook this up as is?

I'm assuming that a previous owner removed this panel and took the subharness out, as there should be one plugged into a P4 nested back in the lower/center part of your dash, below the climate control area. If you don't see a subharness, you'll need to buy that and plug it into that P4...you may need to take a flashlight dig around to find it.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm kind of new to wiring stuff though, by P4 do you mean a 4 pin? also if the harness was removed, wouldn't I have an empty plug somewhere?

Yes, a P4 (actually, it's a 4-P...my bad) is a 4-pin plug. If the harness was removed, there will be a plug somewhere in the lower dash area that the sub-harness will plug into. It's just like the one used for the clock.

Back from the dead. So I finally got around to this, I haven't driven the car much. Anyway, I don't see a plug for it and I don't see any empty space. I'm looking under neath the cd player area, behind the cigarette lighter panel, is this this right place? Anyone have any pics of the connector or where it should be?
