could adjust the hatch higher. could also try twisting the black rubber things on the right/left side lower to see if that will do it also

They look like rubber thimbuls with a corkscrew on the bottom. The r behind the headlights I believe. One on each side

double check your latch and make sure the cable is retraction back properly. i never had that problem with my bra before. if you adjust the rubber ***** to high it wnt let the hood latch.
