No body kit . Too gawdy imo, maybe a lip to give the front end a more agggresive look, remove the side moldings and maybe a cf hood. The only body kit i would even consider is the Bomex kit maybe.

It's really personal preference. If you like kits, go for it. A lip and duckbill is what I have, but so does every car on the street.

If the body kit isn't made in Japan by a well known company, it's automatically rice. Otherwise, it's jay-dee-em, y0!
Go for it, if you like it. Keeps a good variety of hbs on the road. I'm growing tired of seeing jay-dee-em styled hbs cruising around my area, even though my hb looks kinda like one with its jay-dee-em SiR spoiler, amber markers and jay-dee-em clear corners, lol.
But, I guess I'm a ricer at the same time since I sport the 5-piece polyurethane lip kit made by JP aero dynamics design, Ltd. Guess that makes me a J-Ricer
Try not to spend over $5,000.00 on your 10 year old car
If you're afraid of being labeled a ricer, relax. You're ricer if you drive an import, modified or not, under the eyes of a domestic driving e-thug, y0!

i think it's all personal preference, i dont bash on body kits like a lot of people do, but there are some really nice body kits out there that give the eg a very clean smooth look, i really like the bomex body kit https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=596173 too bad this civic is gone RIP

Depends on which kit. I personally think the Buddy Club 2 kit looks nice on some cars, esp. JDM ITR but hey, those ones with big mouths look like *** to me. I'd take a look at some of the more conservative of the kits. Maybe there are some Mugen-style kits for EGs. <3 Mugen for Ferios.

Re: (uNbrokeN)
i remember when honda-tech was so anti-body kit. what the hell has happened lately. any body kit that is made in the usa is ****. they are not designed well, shitty construction, and gross looking. there are a few nice looking kits for honda's from japan. not because its "jdm" just because they are clean, some help aerodynamically, most are constructed well and they are alright.

Re: (uNbrokeN)
now that's a nice body kit..
do what you do player..
it's your car. don't rely on others to get a look for your own car. It's YOUR choice not ours.
people here will just be ****** about body kits and tell you:
"WAAH.. ONLY SPOON! JDM! NOTHING ELSE! CARBON FIBER HOOD! SPOON CARBON FIBER FRONT LIP! ALL YELLOW JDM/AMBER CORNERS! SPOON DUCKBILL SPOILER ONLY!! NOTHING ELSE!!"
honestly.. i could care less about what anybody thinks about my car (if i had one.. ok, i'll just say that the camry is mine. I DONT CARE!)... if i like it i like it.
Soo.. do whatever you feel like doing mah man.
that's my $.02

Re: (dmotoguy)
Most body kits "made in the USA" are ****, shotty constructed and not designed well because most of them are imported from Taiwan where they are mass produced
Gross looking, well, that's a personal preference

Re: (handa)
I do kinda like the look of the older Xenon kit, and one of the Wings West kits is pretty subtle (subtle = good looking IMHO), but on the whole, I'm not too crazy about body kits in general, nor of any offered for 5th gen Civics in particular..
But it's your car, and your hard-earned dollar spent, so go with what makes you happy. Whatever you do though, PLEASE don't just slap on an unpainted/ primer colored kit and roll around like that . If money is an issue, then wait until you can do the whole package .
