Your not good with timing? Did you install this motor? Set the crank to TDC. Now look at the cam gears, the marks should line up...
Have you checked the ignition timing?

i put an extension in cyclinder #1 and moved the crank till it went to the top and it lined up with the cam gears. so its good then right?

Try your main relay, sounds exactlly like a car I worked on a while ago. It will get spark, and fuel, it just won't turn over. Are you any good with multimeters?

timing timing timing... did you by chance remove your dizzy? i'm not positive but on the h motors i think it can be 180 out... not sure. did you change the timing belt? i think not since you're not good with timing. since you got spark, i think it's 180 out. shouldn't be the timing belt if you bought a running motor.

i got her up and running, and it wasnt timing.
I got no CEL's and the car is running on 2 cylinder. i took the injectors out and cleaned them with brake cleaner and still same thing. check for power and they all get power. check for spark and they all get spark.
anyone got a clue whats wrong?

it's not timing huh? and it's running on 2 cylinders? you're answering your own question here by asking yourself this. how do you know 2 cylinders aren't running? which 2 aren't running? on the 2 cylinders that aren't running, is there fuel? is there spark? how's compression? leakdown? if so, is the injectors squirting at the right time? is it sparking at the right time? there you have it... you're car's gonna be running on all 4 cylinders in no time.

yes its not timing. cam gears are TDC and cylinder #1 & #4 are all the way at the top and the fly wheel marking lines up as well.
1. I know 2 cylinders isnt running because the header for #2 & #3 isnt hot like #1 & #4
2. #2 & #3
3. yes theres fuel in the cylinders that aint running (pull plugs and they are wet)
4. yes theres spark....i checked with a screw driver. (btw new spark plugs too)
5. compression - 230(firing) 235(not) 230(not) 220(firing)
6. didnt do a leak down yet, but do i have to since the compression is high.
7. are the injectors squirting at the right time? they are hooked up to the right places.... the ecu should spray them at the right time. yellow, red, blue, and brown are hooked up to the ECU A1, A2, A3, & A5. All 4 yel/blk goes to the resistor box then to the main relay where it gets its power from.
8. and it should be sparking at the right time #1 spark plug wire is near the driver side and #4 on the passenger side and its hooked up like this

on the distributor.
well i answered all your questions. and my car still isnt running on all 4 cylinders.
im stumped .... iono what to do. i got a headache.

Re: EG H22 - wont start need help (SoOHiGH)
it should run then... triple check everything!
i had a car that wasn't running and asked everyone! until about the 30th time checking the wiring, there was a nick in one of the distributor wires shorting out the cylinder position sensor... it doesn't have anything to do with your car but in this case, only you can help yourself. if all those conditions are in place, your car SHOULD start.
