EG with H22 motor will stock ac fit, if I buy a bracket?
I have an EG with an H22 motor, I'm in the process of installing the stock air conditioning system in my car. I was told that I needed to buy a bracket to fit the condensor, will the ac radiator fit?. Because when I tried putting it in, the alternator was in the way. Would I have to buy an after market fan to make it fit?, please help in anyway. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif

HCP is the only company right now that makes the AC bracket for the H22 swap in a 92+ Civic, allowing you to bolt your existing Civic AC compressor to the bracket. Clears the alternator just fine. On an EG, you'll need to use a pusher fan in the front of the AC condensor as fitment is very tight, but well worth it when it's all working in the summer. |
